If you are interested in creating designs, logo’s, business cards, brochures etc. and desire the knowledge in bringing these designs to print then Graphic Arts is the program for you. You’ll also learn how to set up and print your creations on the printing press or output to a colour digital printer. The program provides state of the art MacIntosh computers utilizing the current graphic programs which are used in the industry today.
Objective
To become part of the 4th largest industry in the world. To provide the necessary computer, pre-press and printing skills in the world of offset and flexography. To become confident and competent, using the latest technology for an entry level position in the Graphic Arts industry. Using programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign and Streamline, the students will learn how to interact between these programs in bringing their creation to print.
