BIRDS

All adult birds have feathers, although some kinds, such as pelicans and woodpeckers are completely naked when hatched. All birds develop from eggs outside the mother's body.

Birds inhabit every continent and almost every island in the world. They live in deserts, in Antarctica, in jungles, in swamps, on rocky coasts, in woods, fields and in cities.

Birds eat all living things (invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and other birds).
