The Pre-Industry Training Program is a 5-month, full-time program based on industry needs. Intakes occur twice a year, in September and February.

The Program consists of:
- 12 weeks of shop instruction
- 4 - 6 weeks of supervised on-the-job training

Assistance from the Employability Centre with resume and cover letter writing, application forms, job search strategies and interview techniques.
- PIT students are eligible to sign up for Forklift safety training

WHMIS and Safety Certification

Child Care Assistant

Adults who are seeking skills training, work transition and job placement opportunities are encouraged to register in this school-to-work training program. All adults interested in the program are asked to write an assessment before acceptance. There are no tuition fees for residents of The Winnipeg School Division.
